Kilchoman Distillery sits nestled amongst the traditional buildings of Rockside Farm on the renowned whisky-making island of Islay. Famous as Islay’s farm Distillery, the barley fields stretch west to the shores of Marchir Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Kilchoman is unique in many ways, most notably in its 100% Islay range, Islay’s only Single Farm Single Malt.
Sanaig, named after a weather-beaten headland north-west of the distillery, vatting of both sherry and bourbon casks.
NOSE: Fragrant heather, raisins, pear and orange peel with waves of stoned fruits, mixed spices and rich peat smoke
FINISH: Mouth-coating mixed fruit, caramel, cinnamon and clove with layers of brown sugar, spices, peat smoke and lasting sweetness
