Kilchoman Sanaig 70CL
Established in 2005, Kilchoman is true to Islay’s rich farm distilling heritage, using local peat cut in the traditional way, slowly distilling by hand, maturing in in traditional dunnage warehouses and bottling on site without colouring or chill-filtration.
High proportion of sherry casks maturation creates a distinctively rich, fruity character balanced with citrus caramel and peat smoke.
Sanaig, Rich layers of dark chocolate, honey, festive spices and ripe fruits infuse with Islay peat smoke and classic Kilchoman citrus sweetness.

Kilchoman Distillery sits nestled amongst the traditional buildings of Rockside Farm on the renowned whisky-making island of Islay. Famous as Islay’s farm Distillery, the barley fields stretch west to the shores of Marchir Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Kilchoman is unique in many ways, most notably in its 100% Islay range, Islay’s only Single Farm Single Malt.
Sanaig, named after a weather-beaten headland north-west of the distillery, vatting of both sherry and bourbon casks.
NOSE: Fragrant heather, raisins, pear and orange peel with waves of stoned fruits, mixed spices and rich peat smoke
FINISH: Mouth-coating mixed fruit, caramel, cinnamon and clove with layers of brown sugar, spices, peat smoke and lasting sweetness
